Tra la la la la

Well I have one more exam tomorrow, which I've revised for now, well very nearly, just got a bit left to do tomorrow morning and then I'm sorted.

I've been watching lots of Stargate Atlantis at the moment, which is good, I feel that atlantis is improving as it goes on, I think it's getting up to SG-1 status at the moment.

The internet is still messing up my early nights, although last night I managed to get upstairs before midnight, and tonight I'm aiming to be upstairs by about half ten, fingers crossed for that.

I can't wait until five o'clock tomorrow because then all my exams will be finished and then I'll have the rest of the week off, well I've got loadsa reading to do, but that's pretty straightforward. Au revoir!

Today

Well I've managed to do some more revision today in the form of reading through Richard the third and noting down all the useful quotes. I have to say, I'm putting a lot less effort into my Shakespeare revision than I did for my early twentieth century literature revision, but oh well! In a few days it will be over.

I'm leading a Sunday School group at church this week, which will be good, I'm making playdough! hehe!

They've forcast snow in bangor next week, which I'm veru excited about, I'm just hoping it comes after my exam because otherwise I won't revise adn that won't be good.

Oh well. I'm going to have a look around the internet now! Yay for me!

Internet is bad for your health!

Now, I don't want to complain about having the internet, because it's great, but now I'm going to bed later than I should, it's very annoying especially when I need to get up and revise.

I've joined facebook now, which is good, my housemate is telling me to put great, but I haven't got to that stage in my appreciation of facebook just yet!

Haven't really got much more to say except that it's been really windy in Bangor today, the lights kept on flicking but, and this is quite suprising, the house is still standing, I was sitting in the lounge thinking; if a tree falls through the roof now, I reckon I'd be able to get out of doing my Shakepeare exam, but no such look.

At least we don't have a tree that's crashed through the roof!

Internet!

A most amazing thing has happened people, and here in Bangor we finally have internet. After three months of waiting, four phone calls and many different dates when we were told our stuff would arrive, tiscali has finally sent it.

I can barely believe it and so now me and my housemates are connected to the rest of the world.

The problem is, I'd quite got used to not having internet around and I'd done lots of much more productive stuff, like reading and writing and the like, so I'm just hoping the internet doesn't take over again. Fingers crossed.

Anyway, I'm meant to be finishing my creative writing portfolios, so I best be getting on with that!

Have fun!

Back to Bangor!

Well I'm back in Bangor now. In true North Wales style it was tipping it down with rain when I arrived last Sunday afternoon.

My birthday was less successful than I'd hoped because not all my housemates were back at that point, but I had a good time in the morning and I went for a gorgeous meal with my family the night before, so all in all it wasn't too bad!

Thank you so much for my presents, they were lovely and I can't believe I'm twenty years old, it sounds so grown up and I don't feel that grown up to be fair.

Being back in bangor is nice though, although my body is having to readjust to the coldness of the house after three weeks of blissful warm indoor temperatures, oh well, I'm sure I will survive. I'm working hard in preparation for my exams, although I'm not looking forward to them, all the questions are really hard, but I'm going to work my way through them and it should be fine.

The return of Sky tv is also nice, although I haven't watched much yet. And shock horror I have been in bed before midnight every night except for one, which, considering I didn't manage that once over Christmas, I'm quite impressed about. Anyway, that's all for now, but stay turned! hehe, that's so cheesy. Have fun!

Can't believe it's 2007!

I'm getting old, I think!

Anyway, a late Happy New Year to one and all. SO far 2007 isn;t going to badly, although I don't think 3 days is enough to really get a proper feel for it. I reckon it'll be a good year though. I have good feelings about this year but I don't know why. I'm hoping to do lots of writing, maybe even have a book written by the end of it, not published I wouldn't have thought, but I'll be in a position to think seriously about it. How scary would that be.

What else? I want to do something meaningful this year I think, something that stands out, something that I've never done before, but I'll have to give that a little more thought!

I've been childminding the last few days. I got told by one of the girls that I was the worst babysitter in the world, mainly because after half an hour of hide and seek, which had descended into a game of running round the house and screaming for both of them, I said we were going to stop playing. The eldest girl then repeated the words hide and seek for the next 45 minutes, whic, annoying as it was, I though was quite impressive. She's got persistance, I'll give her that. Anyway today when I child minded I'd been promoted once again to best babysitter in the world, so I'm feeling loved again.

All's well that ends well!
